Squeek
Squeek
I did some searching and couldnt find anything.
Does anyone know if crank pulleys are squeeky or when I put it in will I not notice any drivability or sound differences? (stock battery and stock speakers and head unit with no plans to upgrade them)

A lot of people recommend just keeping the stock crank pulley... I have herard bad things about using aftermarket crank pullies and the gains are minimal, your money would be better spent elsewhere (MBC, cams, fuel pump, exhaust, etc....)
so then this is a total lie?

You also have to be aware of the "underdrive" pullies. That means that your alternator and all accessories are now receiving less power. So if you have a sound system or use your A/C a lot, I'd stay away from it.

That is what I would do! You have to be careful as to which aftermarket parts are actually going to do a better job.
Best regards,
The crank damper is there for a reason. It is cancellling out bad vibes in the crank. You will get less control of these vibes and where down the crank, rods, and pistons faster. You may get some interior drone if it is not tuned right. Also if not tuned right you may set up resonances in the FEAD (alternator. power sterring pump, a/c pump) and get cracks in mounts for these, or contribute more boom or drone in the cabin. I am an NVH Engineer and these are some of the things I have seen happen with poorly tuned dampers or lighter ones.
