THe colder ones by NGK, dont know the type, the one Vishnu recommends, look up on his site, or someone here will give the name. higher boost, needs colder spark,to decreace cylinder pressure. gap for me is .026 with methanol, for you probably .028, or out of the box they are at .030. Good luck, You wont get the misfire code with Dynoflash.

He doesnt need a colder plug at this point. I have run stock plug ranges and one colder on 600 whp. It is a myth that you need to go one colder for every 100 hp. If it were true Id have to run a bpr11. NGK states you should but its more applicable to NOS cars or anything above 30 psi.

Wow, I havent ever heard of that go faster, really. Are the AMS boys/Vishnu/Bushur using the stock plugs? I am not sure, but I doubt it. the colder ones had to be recommended for a reason! What is the reason?

Hey, do you see this thread?

what spark plugs are you running?

Do you know where I got it? I did a search for "spark plugs," and it was the first thread listed. Amazing how that works, huh?

Use BPR7ES gapped to .024-.027 for those mods. Do not go a range colder until you are closer to 350whp.

Im still tuning my car and it has just recently been broken in and I notice no difference in the logs or driveability between the 8 and the 7 running 550 whp with over 500 ft lbs of torque on the street. When I turn the boost up to 40 psi and push over 700 whp then I will be using an 8 or 9 exclusively.

I dont see the mods, just broken in? The car? or the turbo? I must be like a sheep following the others off the cliff, or I missed something somewhere. I am going with what AMS/Vishnu recommended to me, as there is a reason for it. I am too tired to figure out what, but I will stick with their recommendations. good luck.

This is what you should learn first, since it's at the top of every forum with lots of asterisks:

***NEW*** PLEASE READ: ZERO Tolerance Policy ***NEW***

This tells you what you should do and not do, such as:

- Search before posting
- Don't create duplicate threads

Heed those rules, and you'll do fine.

Your advice is always useful but I have to comment. I've searched for "spark plugs" for about two hours now and that thread popped up once out of about 6 searches.

i use the BPR7's & they are pregapped to .028. iridium plugs do not need gapping & most people break the electrode when they gap them.
