test driven evos
test driven evos
hey guys,
as you all know i have been searching for a black evo and my dealer has found one but it has 20 miles on it and they say that it has been test driven...i was wondering if that is okay...i really don't want anyone to test drive it but there isn't any black evos around here at all. the price is 30,189 for a black IX with 20 miles...i'm trying to get them to throw in a set of vortex generators and a aluminum shift knob as well. should i take a car that has 20 miles on it? thanks for the advice.

thanks, i was really thinking about taking it too because i figure that there would be a sales person with the guy who test drove the car or i would hope there is a sales person with them.
the price is very low because i negotiated all day with the salesman and he finally agree because he has three other IX's on the lot that he just wanted to get rid of. and i agree the price is awesome. so i think i will take the car. just needed advice from people who had purchased their cars at around this kind of miles. thanks.
There was a sales person with them i'm 99% sure, espeically if you don't sign anything beforehand heh. Just look at it closer to make sure nothing is scratched inside or out first, simple check, and GO GO GO!

same here even though its a good price.....i still wouldnt take it when i went test driving evos the dealer let me put them to the test....so you dont know who drove it before you..my car had 4 miles on it thats my 2 cents....good luck with it
ive worked at a dealership for 4 years now and since the EVOs first came out only once was someone driving the car without a sales consultant with them. that kid was fired for dumping the clutch at about 6k. so its really a mystery as to what that car has been through. cars get beat on at dealerships. its a fact. but in my experience at least, working for an auto group that has stores that sell everything from porsche, audi, infiniti to ford, mitsu, lincoln, mercury and saturn, most specialty cars such as an EVO, Carrera GT, ford gt, cobra, saleen, marauder, g35, etc are usually monitored very closely. sadly theres no way to tell what a car has been through sometimes.
I bought mine with 400 miles on it.
I couldn't help it, it came with the rear strut bar, some gauges, a pair of canards, all for 29,500. For that prize I couldn't resist. After going to dealer after dealers, I finally gave in on this one. So far the car is still running. I'm loving it everyday.

i sale mitsubishi for a living, you can actually signed the contract, but if you didn't drive the car off the dealer, it still doesn't count as done deal, this is a law.
