I need power door lock assemblies

Im trying to convert my girls RS to power door locks. I already have the Keyless entry alarm system installed. I need the power doorlock assemblies out of a EVO with power door locks. Its the same Assembly in the RS w/ the connector and everything but in the RS the assembly does not have the actuator in it (but the plug is there I tried to power it but it does not move the lock cable). Any one have these for the doors Ill take all 4

I've seen a few posts where people took the parts from junkyard Lancers with pwr locks and windows. Those parts are not Evo specific.

I installed one on my driver side.
you need wiring harness too. RS doesn't have the connectors and wires for the door lock/pwr window. I ran a line from my alram to the door. you can buy from a dealer for 180 dollars( door lock assembly with actuator )
It is funny that you have to get a whole assembly just to get the actuator. and it is pain to install. the black gorilla snot will get everywhere if you are not careful. you gotta have small hands. otherwise, it will be hard to connect those rods.

Had it all apart today I have small hands so it wasnt that bad I wont need the harnesses Ill just run the wires from the Keyless entry Alarm system to the power door lock assembly and solder the connections Itll hold just fine

let me know if you get those cheaper from somewhere else. I need a passenger side. And I don't feel like paying 180 again. other dealers wanted 220 dollars.
you need to drill a hole for rear doors. I won't do rear doors unless I am really bored.

yeah, it is not made out of soild rods like other cars. you can do it if you can splice the cable in the middle. However, the rear doors can be easy. those have rods like other cars.

I did 4 aftermarket DEI actuators in an rs at my work. Have to cut 1 little strip of metal out of the door but they work great. These will save you a ton of money and work great. If your near atl you could come to my shop. We sell the actuators for $15 each and charge $65 to put them in "$80 a door total"

sounds like you work in a roadshop...

Anyway yea the dei actuators are very easy to put in. I myself have installed 4 sets in two different lancers. Very easy and you wont have to worry about cobbling pieces together with junkyard parts..

Anyone feel like doing a write up?

A local shop wants the same price a little steep right now. Mabey you can school me on how you did it.

I really didint want to go hacking away at stuff trying to rig it. But if theres an easy way let me know.

Thanks in advance
