I haven't hd any luck with the TT Flash, they can only tune for WOT on a DYNOJET which is what TT runs. I had a couple of tunes by them, my traps were never that high and my Evo is a slower one for the mods. With cams, I am as fast as an Evo WITHOUT cams. Also tuning a Dynojet doesn't load the car properly so when you hit he street your car runs rather lean. They Just load maps onto your car until thesy see one they like, bam. I was out in 3-4 pulls.

Dynoflash tunes look rich, then again he ALSO tunes on a Dynojet so I bet things balance out on the street. Al also offers a Street tune as well, that ALONE makes

FYI...Depends on where Al is tuning. My tune was done on a Mustang by Al at RS Motorsports and he also custom tunes at Buschur on a Mustang.

I was at TT about a month ago and am very happy with the tune. Again, I think it is all preference. I was curious and wanted to know hp/tq numbers so I chose TT, since they have a dyno. (Also read a lot of good things!) I think they did a great job and would recommend them in the future. I had my tune after all mods, and was pulling a tad shy of 300 whp due to my cat, but they offered a free retune by mail if I were to get a less restrictive cat. In my opinion, performance based, TT and AL have both come through. It's a matter of customer service that people seem to base their preferences on....you make the call. TT get two thumbs up.

We are doing our best to prevent this thread from going in the trash. Comments that slander, name call or add nothing but BS will be removed.

It is a shame that members cannot discuss these questions without a few flag waiving knuckleheads disrupting them. Did that answer your question? If not then PM me. Thanks.

Jester offers a mail in flash, and can do additional work if you can give him your data logs. I just watched him tune 6 evos at Topspeed this Saturday. Nice work. Great guy with a great attitude towards towards him customers.

I was under the impression that a custom tune is better than a mail in flash, being that they are a little "generic".. is this not true?? Or am I completely off the mark here?

Just an fyi .. . you cant tune a flash for driveability ... your car when off WOT ..is in a closed loop status. Meaning that in closed loop .. there is nothing you can do to the computer to alter the way it drives.. The car will always look for a 14.7 AFR no matter what al or myself set the air fuel to. It has no bearing what dyno we run .. and if it has a load on it.. FYI the dynojet does comes with a load option.

I've spent the better part of 2yrs flashing cars.. I can " load a map into your car and bammm " it will be very close. I have about 600 diff maps in my computer .. there isnt a combo i havent come accross yet .. with that being said..

When getting a mail in flash you obviously dont get what the guy who pays 450 dollars will get. Al and myself detune mail in tunes with lower timing and richer fuel mixtures. You cant go wrong with whoever you chose , al and myself have been doing this a long time.

Good Luck

Mark is da man. I don't know anything about Dynoflash's work first hand but my car is a beast and I couldn't be happier.

thanks for coming in and clearing that up mark! seeing as how u urself said that either one would be a good choice, the only difference would be preference!

Oh thanks Marc. So you are saying that you only tune for WOT, and you do this by loading on a specific map? How do you get a custom tune, I guess ECUTEC or EMS?
