How much Power can i expect from a mail in flash?

Ok guys i have a 2005 gsr, anyway i want to go with a mail-in flash and wanted to know some personal experiences you have had good and bad . I was thinking turbo-trix but am open to your thoughts. MY car has

Hbc manual boost controller set @ 22 psi
Apex-i power intake
rsr turbo back exhaust cat deleted

Should i mod my car more before i get the flash ?? My goals are low 12.0s in the 1/4

If you're a very very very good driver, you can hit low 12s on race gas with those mods and a flash, but adding an SAFC to fine tune for the racegas would probably be needed...

Searching would have told you this, but you'll be around 300whp with those mods and a flash. With great driving, that would be a 12.4-12.5. With incredible driving, maybe a 12.3. Most likely, you will get a 12.7 or 12.8 with decent driving, or a 13.0 with poor driving.

If you really want 12.0s, you need cams before that flash.

right. I'd spend that money on cams instead of piping personally, but I have both so eh, what can you do...

I'm not sure you actually read what we wrote. You will _NOT_ be anywhere near 12.0s with your planned mods. If you add a flash, JDM MR DV, and IC piping to what you have now, you will likely not even hit 12.5s in Las Vegas on 91oct with high elevation and heat.

You will need cams, MR DV, and a custom tune to even get close to 12.0s on pump gas, especially if you only have 91oct for daily driving. 12.0s are not a joke. Not only will it require more mods than you're planning, but it will also take very good driving. I'm hoping you realize this...

You don't need cam gears, but yes cams + installation are expensive. You said you "only" wanted consistent 12.0s, right? Well, you gotta pay to play. I'm only hitting 12.0s without cams, because I am using race gas, I have an S-AFC to tune myself for race gas at the track, I crank up my boost really high, and I can drive the living dog mess out of this car. For me to match these numbers on pump gas, even I would need cams, and that's with 93oct at sea level and great driving.

al at dynoflash is a great way to go with a mail-in flash. i noticed a huge difference when i got my ecu back. my friends couldnt believe it when they came to the 1/4 with me either. night and day difference. if your running 22psi daily driving, i would highly recommend you at least upgrade to a walbro 255 fuel pump. i to run 22psi, with the hallman, on the street and i upgraded to the walbro fp just as a precaution. the stock fp's are known to go bad and i wouldnt want to risk not getting enough fuel to the injectors, just my personal opinion.

The stock FPs are not known to go bad, but it's still a good idea to get one before the flash.

i've seen al post that before on the dynoflash forum. the post was about stock fp's that had been found to be faulty when adding mods/boost and its a good idea to upgrade to the walbro. i know, if al told me to jump off a cliff would i? no, but thats not the point. just giving advice that i was given by a professional and passing it on. either way, it wouldnt hurt.

If you are looking for a 12.0 car then I would go with the following. Get the fuel pump it is a good safety mod and is cheap to boot. You are going to need cams for sure to hit the low 12's. A custom tune would really be the way to go if you not have the money for a standalone. Most of the vendors travel around the country doing custom tuning. You can always set one up if you can gather enough people. I would not waste the money on a mail in flash unless the vendor offers upgrades at no charge. Good luck.

I think the poster means 12's, not 12.0's...
