Is it really that HOT!!

I have to say Evo is selling like a hot cake My dealer told me they had 7 in stock today and by 2 pm, 5 were sold. I'm going in for a test drive tonight after work, can't wait.

You also have to take into consideration that they were also being presold, so those 5 may have already been accounted for. Although it's not entirely impossible that 5 Evos were sold in one day, seeing as it's the first hassle-free (read: non-imported and USDMized) offering of the Evolution.

yeah my dirty bastard dealer wouldnt even let me look at the engine or open the car. I hate that dealership, if i ever buy an evo or another mitsu, i will make it a point not to get it from them. (they still have their 1 evo)

yeah, at Savannah mitsubishi, where i got my lancer, they dont even allow you to sit in it until you fill out paper work, and get credit check. to test drive, in addition to the paper work and credit check, you have to watch a video & take and pass a test at some class...****in rediculous...even the service manager at Low Country mitsubishi where i get serviced at, said it was friggin stupid and rediclous....mitsubishi has gone crazy

US dealerships suck. I was in Japan a couple weeks ago and made a little visit to a dealership there. Even though we didn't speak the same language, they guy was really nice about letting us look at the show car, letting us play with it, look under the hood, whatever and even took our picture in it. He gave us some nice japanese borchures too. We also saw a nicely modded V that was in for service. Good times.

Man, San Diego let me sit in an Evo, when I got there they already had the hood open so you could see the engine, they let me check out evreything on that car. These other dealers that won't let you touch and Evo should go blow

When my dealership got thier Evo in they called me and i got to see it roll off the truck. Best part of it is the service manager let me sit in the passanger seat when he test drove it. and he let me drive it into the showroom floor.

Okay, I went there on Friday nite and it sucked, not the car, but the dealer.
1) they asked for $38k
2) no test drive
3) They lied about sold 5 Evo's already
Bastards.... this is at Ramsey Mitsubishi, NJ
The hood was open, so I checked out the engine, nice!
The guy was kind enough to open the door and let me sat in it for a few minutes.
The gauges were small, steering was too, but attractive.
interior overall wasn't impressive, you can imagine that.
The seats really grab you in.
Hate the taillights but what can you do.
saw some high school kid driving a black Evo yesterday, bastard!

Ya I to live in Jersey.my mitsu dealer affiliated with the hyundai/Jeep dealer I work for is asking 5 g's down for a test drive and a markup of 8-10 g's not sure what color this kid bought but he did pay 38 g's .... I know they where having problems with them as well..leaking oil out of the transfer cases ...Also I spoke to a few people a tech and a skilled skip barber driver 1 couldn't get it into 2 without grinding the **** out of it and the other couldn't get it into 3rd Ooh well, I posted this a while back... Today I also saw that we got in the new mitsu SUV's, they look like tanks LOL nice on the inside though from what I saw those are goin for $32 g's at list i believe but thats before they do a damn markup.... The best price on a Evo out here in Jersey that i've heard of was at Shore Mitsubishi I believe my friend could have got out of his 3rd gen turbo'd Eclipse and into an evo for 36 G's.... the salesman at my dealer where talkin to me about tradin my OZ in for one, $700-900 dollars a month later.. I said nah just give me the steering wheel and dash and i'll call it a day...I'm even an employee go figure!
