dont get anything over the 6000k because of the light difference. the higher the number in Kelvin IE 8000k or higher you actually lose the light efficiency.

http://faqlight.carpassion.info/ check here for more info in different lighting. click on the FAQ and learn about your HIDs.

click here to go directly to the HID facts... http://faqlight.carpassion.info/hl-hid-bulbs.htm

enjoy...

Cool

got mine from here. shipped fast and work great. http://www.hid-lights.com/ inexpensive and work great. no problems at all...

i got a pair from a vendor in this forum and they blew up. had problems since day one. still havent seen a replacement set yet. vendor also told me they had a year warranty. welp, its almost been a year, and i only had them in about a month and one bulb went out. burned up my connector also. dont know why.

Cool

here are some pics for you. the two cars side by side give you a comparison of the stock Evo HID rated at 4150k and my wifes IS300 which have the Philips Ultinon 6000k bulbs that were $300.00 for the set. hers are different bulbs however, hers are d2r bulbs, whereas the Evos are a d2s bulb. any more Qs, i will try and help the two bulbs sitting there are the factory on the right and the crystal white on the left. the first pic of the evo headlight is the factory bulb and the second pic is installed the 6000k bulb after warm up.
