Locking yourself out of your car.
I locked my keys in the Evo last week while it was running. Of course it was a freezing morning and I must have accidently hit the lock button when I got in. Had to call a locksmith and pay 60$ and it took the guy 10 sec. to slimjim the rear door open
Needless to say, I need a spare set of keys.

I did the same thing adjusting my boost controller. Not sure how the door got locked. I either bumped the lock or did it out of habit. Luckily I had AAA. The guy came out with a long bar, put a small air bag in the front door jam, pumped it up a bit, and hit the unlock button with the bar and doors were unlocked. Took the guy about 10 - 15 seconds. Kind of scary!

The problem is, my remote start has my spare key wired into it, so if I ever DO lock myself out, I'm totally screwed. Also, my turbo timer keeps the car running and I can't arm the alarm while the turbo timer is still running. Really a pain. I always have to wait a minute or so for the turbo timer to shut down before I can arm the (viper) alarm. So if you find a solution, let me know....I might be able to use it as well.
