Just to be clear molybdenum (spelled correctly) is a metallic element (atomic number 42). Molybnium is the same thing, just spelled differently. The grease is named after the stuff that is in it.

Aluminium (UK), aluminum (US)

It is actually a metal commonly found in steel alloys and some lubricants.

So does any vendor sell one if I don't want to JB Weld it? Or do I have to go through Mitsu. And that Evo 7 one looks ugly so not looking at that.

Excuse me? Are you telling him to weld the plastic spark-plug cover, or the magnesium valve cover? Either way, WTF!?!

P.S. Welding = heat = very bad kharma when applied to magnesium, and also tends to set plastic on fire.

Unless maybe you meant use one of those hot glue guns???

JB Weld is an epoxy. (glue) It so strong it's supposedly like welding it, hence the name.

But yeah, if you do actually weld the Mg valve cover, please be sure to videotape it and arrange for your closest relative to upload it for us.

I am talking about my valve cover. Not that guy with his spark plug cover.

My valve cover cracked, and I do have a torque wrench but it was already weakened and made a small crack.
