any updates as far as temps also I took a look at mine it has like two clips clips and 5 screws and a couple bolts I'll take some pix and post em when I get a chance

 

the vents help create negative pressure underneath assisting in air evacuation. Also channels H2O away from areas that may carrode

 

i took my car to a hand wash place.. and those retards sprayed a hose right into my vent like it's a bucket or something... bastards.
i hope the shield diverted most of the water cuz there was definitely lotta steam comin out.
i think i'm gonna paint mine white to match my car.
