As long as it doesn't leak, it doesn't matter. I got a package of black rubber tubing from AdvanceAuto and it was long enough to go from my Profec up to the gauge in the pod, so I just used it. I don't think it really matters, though.

one note, make sure to buy the tubing in a size that will fit ultra-snug on the nipple on back of the gauge. Even that it's super hard to get on. That way you'll be sure it won't pop off...

Yea the nylon tubing that comes with the gauge also comes with fitting to attach it to the nipple on the back of the gauge

used nylon at first, then swapped out for rubber about 3 months ago and the same reading. nylon is easier to hook up to the back of the gauge, but it seemed to be harder to tap into the boost line off the intake. I would use rubber again if I install on another car...

I used the nylon tubing that came with mine on my Superduty (30 psi !) w/ no problems @ 100K miles since I installed it. I used copper tubing on my Evo, so either way, it shouldn't matter.

Just use the nylon. There is a reason Autometer sells it with that. There is a smaller inside volume to the nylon tube. It will read better, and quicker. Also, the nylon will not expand at all. Rubber lines can and will expand a little.

yeah, use what came with it. I got gauges used from a wrecked Evo, so I had to buy the tube, and rubber was the fastest, easiest, cheapest.
