Don't event know where to start chewing on this one, try the battery. (disconnect-reconnect) It shut mine off many times after I did that, and make sure a connector didn't come loose. Good luck, keep us posted.

here is one more idea, when my MAF went bad, I had a low voltage reading also. they have to plug it in, and look at a "different" screen, I think they had to look at the MUD? sensor, which told what altitude the MAF was reading, mine was reading below sea level. (I wasn't). Have them check the MAF sensor. did you re-oil the airfilter? get an oily airfilter? just an idea, and actually that was when my CEL came on when I didn't install a new part. If I am right, you owe me a starbucks!

I say check the MAF sensor. (you didn't post it, but I sure to God hope you still have one on your car!) Or this is 2 minutes of my life I wont get back! Or it will come on within 3-5 miles after you drive it.

Thanks.
+1. IMO, the only thing the old M5 had over the Evo was luxury, which i personally dont really care about.

good luck to the thread starter; may you finally get the car u truly desire to drive

Well guys I think I will venture over to the dark side for a while!
Since I like the newer M5 and it is a little more than I want to pay for a car right now, I think I will check out the 06 STI!
Dealer is giving me $24500 for my 04 SSL BBY with 21556 miles.
In total stock shape

I dont owe you anything because it came on less than 5 miles later!
However I thank you for all your help and I would be more than happy to send you $20 since you are a good member who tried your best to help me
It probably wont be subbies problem since part of the deal was to take the car to mitsu after the teardown to service it under warranty and give up all the freebies before I hand it over!
Thanks for your help bro! I will be in INDY for some training soon maybe then I can buy you a Coffee! I used to live in Heartland Crossing (then a new subd)

You dont owe me anything, look at my previous post, I said it was the MAF, or it would come back on in 4-6 miles! come down for the Winged Warrior Deal in INDY, June. you will be welcome with a subie or anything. again, good luck! Look me up when you come down.
