Boost gauge!

I have quick question ! is this autometer gauge off? (pics below) i was seeing the difference in gauges as far as psi and vacuum between the defi gauge and from what i can see they have the same vacuum but boost don't pass 20 on the autometer ! P.s the first pic is with the car off!

I don't understand your question. Could you put it another way? It sounds to me like your question is why doesn't the Autometer gauge show more than 20psi? My answer would be that it does. Autometer shows 30psi and the Defi shows 35psi. In your first pic with the car off, your gauge is correct. It should read 0.

Sorry! I'm trying to see which out of these two is more accurate of a gauge because on the autometer it doesnt go pass 20 psi and the defi (21-23 psi)! i checked the autometer website and came up with the pic below and shows the needle in the middle of the 0 and mine is the beginning and thought i may have a defective gauge but both gauges read the same vac .

There's no direct answer to this question. It's not like all Defi gauges and all Autometer gauges read the same as each other. It depends on the actual gauges you have in your possession. My Autometer could read perfectly while yours could be off by 2-3psi. It all depends on you, your car, and your actual gauges.

I also have the middle autometer gauge and when you first turn off the car it lays under 0 a bit, but after your car sits for a while like overnight it will be dead on center at 0

What are you talking about? You say the Autometer doesn't go past 20psi, but i CLEARLY see that it does. It goes all the way to 30psi. I posted this in my first post to you. I'd check your vacuum lines and make sure there is NO kinks in the line and all your zip ties are on TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT! Any leaks or kinks in the line will lead to incorrect readings. My gauge reads perfect 0 when the car is off, but when i first installed it, it didn't. I had to unplug it and plug it back in a few times to get it to read right for some reason???

I think he means when he boosts, the Autometer shows that he isn't going over 20psi, whereas the Defi registers up to 23psi. In other words, they are 3-4psi off from one another.

I was thinking this as well, but he just isn't clear. I guess i didn't count on him having two boost gauges and swaping between them?

Hey kid, don't worry about it. If your asking why the gauge reads into the mercury "Hg" it's because of your altitude. I have already looked into this one. Easily said, it's normal press on.

Heres a question which one between the two would u guys go with ? Sorry for the confusion but i'm planning on installing my mbc and didn't want to !@#$ up something ! Sorry guys!

It's hard to say. If your Defi is showing 23psi and you don't even have a boost controller, then it sounds like it's way off. If the Autometer only shows right at 20psi at peak boost, then it sounds more accurate.
