To All That Bought a IX MR
I've noticed a lot of buy threads that state someone has just bought an Evo. And, for me, every one of those threads is of an MR. Is this just me?
My question to those MR owners is, "Why did you buy the MR?" Is there an low stock on the IX GT that everyone goes one higher or you all just got good deals? I ask because I'm having a hard time finding a IX GT (GSR to most) in White around where I live but there's a shxtload of WW MRs around...just don't have the dough for 'em...

extra gear, aluminum roof, lighter wheels, not aware of any gsr shortages maybe they are moveing faster than the mrs or maybe mitsu is just making a buttload of mrs this year. I got an mr cause this is my treat to myself after bustin my *** and making my family first priority for years while neglecting myself. So if they offered an option for a cherry on top it would be there

To my understanding, I'm just equating the two cars since the JDM GT is the exact same car we get in the States. I know it's not officially called the "GT" in the States...i just like it. ;p
I got my MR, because of the 6spd, BBS rims, exclusive color (at the time), VG, Bilsteins, and the fact that it is a limited edition (only 1200 total, 1000 in the US - 05 only).

I got my MR by default, I was the first to put down a deposit at Ball mitsu around the middle of the year. Had it writin on the paper work "first IX' with a smiley face and the general mng. signature. I showed up the day they were allocated, they requested my GG SSL. I returned home with a Vin # and waited 31/2 weeks, for a damn Blue IX to show up in it's place, which was fine, being as assumed it would be traded with correct car. Of course the dealership that had my car said 'No way" so another month goes by, and everyone on evom is smiling with their new IX's, and my daily driver blows its engine So, needless to say my patients was gone. Huntington beach offered me a MR for 1000 under MSRP but couldn't match Ball On the price after all the crap I went through.
