Im sure that the changes in drag/downforce or intake temperatures are negligible.

Mine started dragging on the pavement one day...
I guess I hit a lottt of stuff with that thing.
SO UNFORTUNATELY, I had to replace it with a APR windsplitter...

Those of you in climates that get snow and do not run some sort of underpanel - have you had any issues?

Ive seen salt and sand eat away at the underbody/oil pan area on my friends car that have driven through the winter with it off. Nuts and bolts just don't come off nearly as easy as they used to.

You can get them out with your fingers, no tools necessary! If you go to Napa, they usually have a display of all different types, just look at the GM's ones, and I am sure you will be able to figure it out. I will try to get a pic anyways.

Actually, i searched on Napa's website and found a pic. I hope it works:

As you can see, you can get enough grip on the rivet part to pull it out with your fingers, and no tools.

Napa's item number is:

Item#: BK 6652409

And the best part is it's $4.99 for 13 as their web site says.

Things to watch out for:

The rivet "base" is larger than the base of the stock style rivets, so on some rivet
locations you might not be able to use them. I have used these with great success.
this is so awesome. you say some may not fit so I ordered two packs of these from napa and 20 of MU488006 .

no more BS with the undertray.

yeah, I took my undertray off last weekend.

I used a super thin disposable IKEA-type wrench (filed the end of to make it thin enough to slip under the edge) just pulled the outer ring up with it and put some wire cutters in there and then levered them out back and forth until they popped free.

those that didn't come easy got snipped. **** those dastardly clip screws. I'll mess with them once and never again.

Wow old thread but I'll bite.

I threw that POS in the trash 8 years ago. Never noticed any difference whatsoever

Wouldn't mind a nice AL underpanel though
