Are you driving around with your plastic underpanel?
The trick to those clips is 2 flatheads on either side of the middle part to pull that up a little, then this tool will pull the clip out with ease. Without ruining the clips as often.

Also works great for pulling coil plugs out, popping interior panels, etc.
Unfortunately those garbage undertrays are easily destroyed. I even bought a replacement undertray that got destroyed again.

ohhh, i get what you're saying
either way i'm keeping mine. takes ~10 minutes to get all the clips off and keep the engine bay clean. for the number of times i actually need the undertray off, having it on is well worth it

You don't want dirt/debris build up anywhere near moving parts. I.E a/c compressor clutch or any type of pulley. Especially in snow belt areas. Causes rust and will seize up parts. I learned it hard way on my vw jetta. What happen was under skid plat was removed for over year. One day suddenly no start situation come to find out engine would not turn over due to a/c compressor clutch seized later later found debris/mud/salt stuck in the clutch pulley. Now that vehicle has no compressor.
