My buddy wants to get a downpipe for his 05 evo ssl. He was just wondering what downpipes will fit around the ACD. I have the turboxs full turbo back on mine and there downpipe fits well with my 05 and ACD, he just wants a different exhaust. So throw a list of downpipes out there guys that you know will fit.

 

I know the Buschur 2.5" and 3" fit with no trouble.

 

I have the Invidia downpipe on my '05 and it fits fine with no clearance issues.

 

im gonna go with the works 3" dp!! its a bit expensive, but i think its worth it

does anyone know if the megan downpipe fit on the 05?

 

The one I have doesn't fit to good. It's about 2" short of the tp, doesn't clear the tie bars, the wings don't reach the rubber hangers and it rubs the acd.

I still have it on there though, woot.

 

I Have The Dc Down Pipe W Cat Delete And It Fits Like A Glove! Also Cost Is Cheap.

 

I do know the Injen hit's the T-Case but not the cross bars, and had to go with a Tanabe DP it's 2.75.

 

I have the Tanabe downpipe. Its 2.75" but there were no fitment issues whatsoever, and it has the pre drilled EGT bung. def a noticable difference despite being .25" smaller that usual

 

+1 for EGT Bung on the Tanabe DP.

 

70mm Tanabe fits nice.

 

+1, I have heat wrapped it also and it still fits.
