This is no longer funny. You and others have taken this good thread and turned it into an "I'm a newbie who is going to sneak in some frequently asked questions without searching to see if I can get away with it" thread.

The 10.5 hotside refers to the size of the exhaust housing on our turbo. The 03/04s had a 9.8c^2 hotside, but then the 05s got the same compressor housing with a 10.5cm^2 exhaust housing. The IXs not only have the 10.5 hotside, but also a LARGER compressor housing (other side), so it's the best of both worlds.

2-step refers to launch control. You sit at the line and floor the accelerator, but the rpms are held at a pre-determined level (e.g. 6k rpm), so that you can launch more consistently by having your rpm at the perfect point while having the gas floored every time you launch.

My respose was more concise.... and it gave them the direct link to a wealth of knowledge on both these topics...

More concise? That adjective is not applicable when you give no answer whatsoever. You only gave the link to the search itself, not to threads answering the question, so your answer was not concise at all.

There was no direct link to anything, and do not lecture me on telling people to search. I've been doing that for over a year and about 5000 posts, and I'm tired of getting warned by mods and told by the owner of the site that if I don't cut the crap, I'll get banned. I'd rather stay on board and help make this place more useful, so I will refrain from ONLY telling people to search. I prefer to answer the question while also suggesting a search in the future. If someone keeps it up, then I report them as requested by the mods.

Thaks a bunch Warr! Trust me, I do search, but you hit the nail right on the head when you said, "I'm a newbie who is going to sneak in some frequently asked questions without searching to see if I can get away with it". I just got lazy that's all . Not an excuse really, but I do appreciate and respect the way you go about doing your explanations. And youmight not know me personally, but I know for a fact that if I'm viewing a thread, and I see you post, it's a quality thread worth reading. Thanks

I doubt it has the TME internals.. quite honestly I don't see a need for it.

I took my friend for a ride last night that is a WRX owner which also has a 350-400hp neon.. he was VERY impressed and I was only running 20-22psi.

And with these people that can't read.. I just don't get it.

What happened to the "saying" You can give a man a fish and he will have a meal.. you can teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. I guess some people just aren't hungry enough.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Hey Warrtalon, what's an Evo? Does it come stock with tires or are those considered mods?

I hope you all know a stock evo IX turbo is a TD05HR-16G6, from what I have read it flows around 575ish cfm and has a 38-40lb compressor wheel. Correct me if I have the wrong info. What is the 20g comp. wheel rated at on the evo 20g 9?
