buschur reliabiltiy
i have a full buschur race car.
gt35r
fully built stroker
aem ems, everything...
over christmas i drove from utah to the east coast and back again. altogether i clocked around 6000 miles in 2 weeks. the car runs like a raped ape and is as reliable as stock.
big thanks to the guys at buschur for making such reliable parts
also, if any of you live near salt lake city utah and are looking for an installer that knows evo's inside out go to vesko from competition associates. he did my engine swap and clutch. he is the only person (besides buschur) i will let touch my car.
pm for his contact info

Seth, thank you for posting this.
I'd like to say a little more and you can back me up if you don't mind.
I sent the 2.3 liter engine, GT35R kit etc. by truck freight to Seth. Vesko installed it and I sent him a base map to get the car going.
Seth and Vesko then DROVE the car from Utah to Las Vegas, NV where I met them to tune it. I did a few rode pulls on the car and then we put it on the dyno. The MD dyno we used is calibrated exactly like mine, I checked it. The car made 370 whp on 91/93 octane right off the street from the road tune.
I then tuned it with race gas in it at 25-27 psi of boost. The car made 500 whp on a non-aggressive road racing tune. Which brings me to my next story....
They then drove the car back to Utah where Vesko prepped it for the Time Attack Event. The car and Vesko then set the 2nd fastest overall time for the entire Time Attack Event with the car. The only car faster was the GM backed Cobalt, it was .5 seconds quicker. Vesko only got on shot at a time as the boost dropped and they couldn't figure out why. The custom header on the car had the bolts back out and there was a big exhaust leak and blown exhaust gasket.
The car was taken back to Utah, leak fixed, put back into street trim and this cross country trip was planned.
When Seth called to tell me his plans I basically told him he was crazy to drive this car across country with his wife and dog and not expect some type of problem. I mean this is a full blown race combination.
Well a week later the Richmond family showed up here bragging about the 20+ mpg they were getting and driving as fast as they could.
Even I was impressed.
Glad to see everything went well and you made it home safe. Again, thanks for the post.

i ment to say were you driving the car like a baby the hole time or were you ripping on it and racing people. i would say you were not becasue just got it but 6000miles and no problems seems good to me dude. keep the update news.
That is very impressive. Takes alot of trust to take your family cross country in a purpose built race car. I haven't done any business with you as of yet but when I'm ready to take my car to that next level you'll be the guy I see.
We did not re-tune the car from the street tune. The tune was dead on. That was the final number.
