Not to take anything away from the IX, but a big time pro driver spinning out a AWD Lambo? Not even in a true race? I saw the vid and it was nice up until the spin out, a little corny IMO. I guess we will never know what really influenced the Lambo to spin out.

but if you look at the end of the vid, they show best laptimes with the evos and that evo f400 beat the lambo's time by seconds...

I saw this magazine last week. The RS4 was tested against BMW M3 CS (US competition package) and MB C55 AMG. Then it was featured on the AWD test against Porsche 997 C4 (non-S) and EVO IX MR fq-340. The EVO turned the best lap time (1min 24 sec.) vs Porsche (1.25) and Audi (1.28). The EVO was claimed to be the most entertaining to drive.

to top it off

In the first comparison, the RS4 beat both the M3 & MBC55. There was close to a 1-sec. difference between the RS4 and the M3, which was the 2nd fastest.

In the AWD compero, the EVO beats both the RS4 and the P. Car

The Evo costs so much less and with only a boosted 4cyl, meanwhile, the Porsche with a Turbo 6. If I pay 90K for a car it better not loose to a 4 door 4 banger that costs 1/3rd of the price. I dont care who makes it or how pretty/luxurious or whatever. The Audi is a nice car but the Evo is THE "poor boys Ferrari". So much performance for so the price we paid. If I had 90K to spend on a Porsche, Audi or an Evo, I'll take the Evo and spend the other 60K on another Evo and mods for both.

Dont get me wrong Porsches are great, and I've always been a big fan of em' but the Evo is a steal at $32K+!!
