to the contrary, just 2 weeks ago, Dave himself was testing aftermarket manifolds and randomly decided to remove his stock ported/coated O2 in place of an $80 Ebay O2 housing. With no tuning or boost changes, the first pull showed a 13whp/12wtq gain that simply amazed Dave. The only downside he noticed was that the SS Ebay O2 has very thin walls, so longevity was a concern, but I'm going to try one out to see if the same power gains can be seen. Dave was so impressed that he ordered 10 of them that he will jet coat and resell - 1 of these he sent to me uncoated to replace my stock ported/coated o2.

sounds very interesting, were their any other mods included that gave him this amount or was it the manifold alone?

So how are we going to know what all these new parts gained for you?

Use your imagination. I don't have the resources to constantly dyno and re-dyno, so I have to do the best I can. My flash gave the biggest gains in torque, but likely very little in terms of peak WHP. At best, somewhere around 305-310whp afterwards, but that would be a 12-17whp gain from an SAFC to flash with no other mod changes, and the SAFC doesn't normally lack that much in terms of WHP. Basically, if I put down 310-315 or something like that, the gains would be considered minimal. If I bust out 330whp on pump gas, then that shows some very nice gains, especially since this is the same Dynojet where I put down 282whp on a cat-back when trapping 107-108mph earlier in the year (109-110mph=~300whp).

Well, I just want to make sure that you don't claim a certain number difference with the new parts when you dyno because, since you haven't done a baseline dyno where your car currently sits, we won't know exactly what you gained from all this.

Are you also using the same dyno as you used before you got the flash?

Warr- What is the diameter of the ebay-housing. I very recently purchased a used VIII and want to turn it into a Warrtalon FU-400. Feel free to share some of the secrets going on at Camp Buscher.

Come on, man, give me some credit. I've said all along that I don't have an exact baseline, but I know you can't keep up with every single thing I say. I'm not the type to just spew BS like that. Imm all about giving the honest truth and honest gains. If I could, I'd go straight from the dyno to the drag strip and prove what the numbers mean via trap speed. Then, we'd actually know the relative gains, because I trapped 110mph on my only attempt after the flash, but there are no tracks open.

No, this is not the same dyno as where I did the 293, but it's the same as where I did the 283 (previous dynograph with 2 curves). These are both Dynojets within 30 miles of one another that read identically as proven by our numerous dyno days and direct comparisons with cars that didn't change mods. My 10-12whp difference was before and after switching to a test pipe from the stock cat, so the difference between the two is negligible, imo.

Diameter of which part exactly? The openings on the turbine housing side? I will go measure those, hold on. I know the downpipe side is identical in outer diameter.

I will edit this post with the other measurements...

Btw, haha on the Warrtalon FU-400 - that's a nice touch.

The ID of the exit to downpipe is what I am wondering. I have been looking in Hyper Rev for the largest that I could find and they range from 65mm to 80mm. Saving a couple of hundred bucks has caught my attention.
Glad you like the name. Feel free to copyright it.
