Meh 99.99% of 16 year olds (hell teenagers in general) don't know their *** from a hole in the ground. Of course most think they know everything which is what usually causes problems.

See I don't see this age thing as discrimination and here's why, its right. I'm sorry but a 16-18 year old is simply not fully developed mentally and is still very much a child in many respects. Simply compare the statistics and the behaviour of the various age groups, they vary wildly. This applies far more to males than to females but the same rules apply. Young adults are still very hormonal and are in a transition stage as it were, they're not completely kids but they're not quite adults. There's a vast difference is saying something like "all asians are good at math" and saying "a 16 year old is far less mature than a 25 year old". A sign of someone's maturity is whether they understand this. When I was younger I didn't like to admit that I wasn't mature enough to handle certain situations, but now I look back and go "wow my parents were right I was a dumbass back then".

That is where you're wrong. I know a few people in that age group that are probably the smartest people I have met. Not just with math and whatnot, but also intellectually. And age is just a number my friend, just because someone is 16 doesn't mean they will act like a child. I have seen people who act like the "stereotypical" 16 year old who are 30,40, and even 50.

Maturity and intelligence are two completely separate things. There were kids under the age of 13 in my sister's physics and math classes in university, but I wouldn't trust them behind the wheel of a car. Age is not just a number, its a sign of development. Sure there are exceptions, but that doesn't negate the general rule. There are kids who are 9 who are entering puberty and are able to have kids, but do you think they should be allowed to have sex with 18 year olds? From a biological standpoint there is a sharp difference between the average (or rather most) 16 year olds and most 25 year olds.

No I'm a 20 year old male who actually remembers what its was like to be a 16 year old and who actually has the maturity to recognize how stupid I actually was. Oh and as for the ignorant statement, I'm a biologist, so I do know just a wee bit about what I'm talking about.
Damn punk kids, so cocky yet so stupid.

Hmmm, it seems as though you have not grown any more mature from 16 to 20 if you still make statements such as "Damn punk kids, so cocky yet so stupid." You really need to check yourself before you check others. You are ironically fitting into the stereotype that you follow religiously with comments like that.

Let me guess this straight, your willing to go "+1" to a statement that says I am ignorant and an ***, a personal attack, yet you get on my case for making a sarcastic and general statement? You're kidding right?
