also keep in mind that some bars are hollow and some are solid.

beefier is only good if it doesn't flex as much.

I like hotchkis adj. swaybar.

The hollow inside makes the bar stiffer, unlike the solid inside bars where it allows flex.

Hotchkis will break before it'll bend.

When I gas up and brake, the car leans back and foward.....How can I cure this BODY roll?

Does my Engine need a new suspension?

Plus the front sway bar is a ***** to replace.
Well, i have a 27-29mm (solid) adjustable whiteline FSB on my car, its one of the small mods you can do in Astock scca soloII. I really like the bar, it helped turn in and steering feel as well as better front grip. More understeer, hell no, the STi loves a big FSB. I would assume to an extent the evo would too but I dunno for sure, our weigh balances and whatnot are quite similar but again, I dunno. Anyway, dont think that this oversized bars just add understeer, they actually add quite a bit of front end grip, due to them being able to resist lateral loads and let you retain some dynamic camber something that is really valuable when your car is as camber hungry as the STi, granted it would be nice to balance with 24mm RSB but in Astock I cant, otherwise I would and many love that!

anyway, just my .02

This doesn't sounds like any MR I've driven......unless you are really hauling ****.

Are you saying that your MR rolls (left-right) soo much you cannot eat a burger?

Well .... the hour is up.... what did you order?

I believe I'm going to go with the perrin adjustable bar.

I installed bigger rims, Hotchkis springs and the Hotchis sway bar. I love the combo. Body roll is gone. Here's the info from their site:

Hotchkis Tuning Sport Sway bars improve your handling and reduce body roll. Turn in with confidence and late brake in the corners with our track tested lightweight hollow sway bar. During track testing we found that due to the excessive amounts of understeer on the Evo 8, we needed to compensate with a stiffer rear bar. Rear bar includes greasable bushings and brackets.
Rear 15/16" (24 mm) Hollow
3 Position Rear +10%, +27%, +47%

I have mine set on 27%. On a side note, I helped a buddy install the Cusco last weekend and it does not come with brackets. It's also heavier than the stock unit too.
