If you're not running some type of Speed Density, keep the recirc BOV.

Believe me, You'll still get a significant "whoosh" sound with a recirc....
I have the Turbo Xs racing recirc and my car whooshes pretty loud. Just use a high flow intake and the recirc will be plenty loud. It's borderline obnoxious actually hehe. But I know that the new recirc is much better than the stock one.....

This one has sure been covered a lot here.

You can choose to vta but u better have a good tuner if you want to run well.

I was thinking of getting the adjustable agency power bov which can do 100%vent,50-50%, or 100% recirculate. Anybody got this one or know how good it is? Do you realy loose hp while full vta. What would be the advantages or needs to fully vta? ANy help would be appreciated as this is my first car with a turbo.

I've heard good things about that one. It's not that you loose hp while venting, it's that you release already metered air, thereby making your afr's rich. Keep it recirc and you won't run into all those hesitation, and stalling problems, just like it's been said before. I've also heard of people using the APR BOV which vta's and recircs, and heard it was good too. Really unnecessary, but to each their own. Advantage of full vta? None that I can see, except maybe on a highly boosted MAP based vehicle.

I am with you. I know on the vw's the car will stall when coing to a stop, if the valve is after the MAF. Some of the 1.8t's the guys are running them open with no problems.
