UR Test pipe Bung position?

OK...I've got a 3" UR test pipe or whatever.. (so he says it is) but there is not a bung for the o2?
now,....Do i need an elbow for it..or what should I do?

1: weld a bung on (where) and do the fouler trick - (if so where does it go- toward pass side near front of car closest to Front flange?)
2: weld an elbow and hope its enough away from the Flow that no cel is thrown?

wanna throw it on but theres no bung (i guess it was supposed to have one??)..so I need to take to a muffler shop & get this done..

Thanks searched but just the main question was : "whats the best"..etc or "cel fix"

thanks

If you have no bung for the sensor, buy the resistor cel fix from buschur or perrin, and be done with it. What exhaust do you have, as you will need to put the sensor somewhere

well for the price I was like whatever...eaiser than having a Muffler shop do it...granted I have to weld a bung on.

I payed like $50 shipped for it.I didn't even thin twice about the bung being there.

so what should I do to make this work i guess is what i need to figure out.

Thanks

Heres the deal w/ that.

I have Megan DP and Exhaust that came on the car...planned on the *NEW* Burscher Axle back/rear section (if possible) to replace the ricey Megan Tip/ can that I'm not a big fan of.

so just get the fix and Splice?

do a search for mechanical 02 fix in the how-to section, i used it and no CEL. also, i have a UR and they all come with the elbow but you have to cut and lengthen wires for the 02 to reach, so IMO the fix is easier or you can buy the same thing on ebay for $35.

What exhaust came on the car? If you have no bung in the catback, I suggest you get the perrin cel fix or equivalent, because you will have to put the sensor back in for emissions. I don't have a name brand catback, but I imagine they should have a bung after the convertor, for emission purposes?

the bung is to relocate the 2nd 02 out of the exhaust stream so you get no CEL when removing the cat.

i've never seen any evo cat-back without a bung! that o2 fix goes in the stock location on the catback and then the 02 sensor gets threaded into that. VOILA! no CEL without a cat
