Torque numbers are much lower than I expected. It should be similar to your whp. I looked at the graph again and you didn't hit peak torque until like 4.2k rpms, when you should peak around 3.5k rpms. I think you may have a boost leak.

pretty impressive. if you like your warranty, stick with a cat-back(cat-delete too, you can put a cat on when visiting the dealer), drop-in filter, and a flash.

Where in Portland did you get your EVO? Where did you dyno it? I am asking because I am in the market for an EVO... but I do not think I will ever be buying from an Oregon dealership.

Can I ask why you were expecting low torque? Typical stock IX's should have much more torque than that. Look here when they dyno'd it stock: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=182122

I bet if he started the run from a lower RPM, he would make more torque. It takes time for the turbo to build boost. By the time he had full boost, he may have been beyond the peak torque point... just a possibility.

Is that 264HP at the wheels??? How can that be if the engine is rated at 286HP?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I doubt the AWD drivetrain only loses <10%.

On a Dyno Dynamics dyno, we're seeing 212HP at the wheels (stock), which nets ~24-25% drivetrain loss. Sounds more accurate.

Did you consider that maybe the IX is under-rated? ...cause it is... by a lot!

It may well be under-rated, but I doubt it's under-rated by 70HP. Going by a 25% drivetrain loss, that IX is putting out ~355 engine HP without ANY mods

I guess it depens on the type of dyno. Some measure HP at the flywheel, some at the hubs and some measure at the rollers.

Either way, the EVO IX is a fine piece of machinery for the price.

alot of people seem to be hitting around 260-270whp BONE STOCK, and they're running high 12's around 106-107 BONE STOCK...so i think the #'s are pretty accurate
