tre is a great company to work with, customer service is awesome, but unfortunately, my tranny shifts rougher than before i sent it to tre. more grinds, seems to vibrate in 3rd and 4th, etc... probably just a one-off bad build, UPS dropped it one too many times, i really dont know. but i really dont feel like taking out the transmission again so they can look at it. i will send my transmission to shep racing when this one fails (i really dont feel that my tranny is very reliable, although there are no problems that make the car undriveable as of yet)

Just to update.. sending to shep. around 900$ plus shipping

Talk to the guy persoanlly, he assured me problem will be solve...will see.

GPTourer- Fyi sent my car to mitsu due to unable engage to gear box..i initially thought clutch probem... later found out to be shiftfork.

But dealer saw my mod initially, told me they will not cover any damage on drivetrain.
have full intake, cams.

What do you expect.... ITSASUSHI.

Bent/broken forks are caused by slamming gears too hard...

TRE all the way for me....no problems with my AWD Eclipse I had them do....buying a new one from Mits is a big NO NO. I've had first had experience in that...bought a tranny from Mits and it broke 4th gear before 20k miles. It will cost you just as much to have TRE or Sheppard build you one as it will for Mits to do it, however, TRE and Shep will do a better job and make it last. Hell TRE offers a warranty to boot.

I am very happy with the TurboTrix rebuild. Even Al said "Wow that shifts smooth", but I had them send the gears out to Armoloy for plating so the gear faces are 72c rockwell.
