I ordered a helix cat delete pipe from them advertised as fitting an evo 8 and will not trip the cel... picture which i will attach below showing a cat delete pipe with a bung for an 02 sensor. great for the ix right ? but not when the pipe they actually send you is just a straight pipe with no bung. I called them and asked them to fix it...and they say helix doesnt make a pipe with a bung in it. i tell them i want a refund and they say i have to pay them a 30% restocking fee. I explained to them that the pipe they have pictured is not the actual pipe, they reply with its just a general picture and they are not responsible for it, its in there terms and agreements. i read them, and its not anywhere in there. I called them back and the new guy on the phone tells me that i ordered the wrong part and even though the picture shows a bung, thats not important, it says fits an 8 and thats what matters. HOPUP RACING IS A BUNCH OF LAME *** PEOPLE RUNNING A STORE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. Im taking this to my lawyer.... which, thanks to my EVO i keep one because of my tickets
.... I'll keep you posted... just know that HOPUP did in no way try to resolve this situation properly and when confronted with their false advertising, they became rude and defensive and hung up the phone on me.
the first pic is what they pictured, the second is what they sent me

All the sites I went to that sell this cat delete have pictures of the pipe with no o2 bung. I would assume that it doesnt come with it. Most don't. Sorry to be a dick but you should have researched the part first before buying it.
You can always buy an o2 bung and have someone drill the pipe, then weld it on.

i went to three i know sell it... all 3 have the picture on the left on the site... only 1 when you click on the product description pops up with the new picture of the actual product. One site even sells the "cell fix" separately which is just a bolt on o2 bung that backs the 02 sensor out just a tad bit so the cel wont go off. If you buy the pipe, they say it comes with it.... either way didnt come with mine. I then asked hopup what if i was buying the part for a friend and he had an EVO VIII they said then it would fit and just installing this straight pipe in that car, the cel would not come on, which anyone knows in the community is BULL. HOPUP should of just accepted my dissapointment, accepted my return and eaten their shipping which i will have to pay going back to them anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that they won't resolve it.
That worried me because I just bought an Apexi N1 exhaust for my S2K from Hopupracing. The picture and description said it fits S2K's '02 and up. So I emailed them and got my reply in writing stating that it will fit an '01. That would be my proof in case it did not fit.
I didn't trust the saleperson over the phone because he wasn't certain and wasn't professional. So it's always safer to get it in writing. Otherwise, if the salesperson tells you false information, it will be his/her word against yours.
Any smart business will know that the customer is always right. They should do the right thing by making sure you're satisfied.
Try the Better Business Bureau along with your lawyer. Good luck.

i just sent a complaint into the San Diego BBB department. They will be contacting them to help resolve and their business is going on their flagged list for more complaints. If anyone has had any issues with them, nomatter if resolved or not, go thru the complaint process for the rest of us. It has a block on there that says if the problem was resolved or not and if you just want to add it to the bureau's records for their sake.
Interesting that this thread comes up because I'm right on the virge of buying GF210 springs from them. I was literally 5 minutes away from buying. It is about $60 cheaper, but I might have to reconsider now.
