Purchasing an EVO Help
I am looking to get an evo to, never had one. The evo is one of the aftermarkets favorite, so I think you have to be extra careful. Many people like to mod them pretty wild as you should have noticed if you have been reading the forums. Then before selling, many change the car back to stock, wich is very bad for the car but good for reasale.I am not saying all evo owners abuse their cars, but there are many who do.
so if you are going to go for a used one, be extra careful and have it looked over by a professional or someone who really know what they are talking about.
but have you checked this out??

these are probably the best deals you will get. if not, LET ME KNOW!!!
but, read the forums and use the "search". most of your questions have been asked before and you can find your answers here somewhere.
but take note, that I am only a huble newbie and do not know to much my self. All I know is from reading this site.

.....and that is my recommendation to you.....buy a cheap 03 and beat the **** out of it. You will be getting kicked in the nuts if you buy a nine right now especially with the ten right around the corner. Most of these cars are still under warranty so who cares if its used just make sure the clutch and brakes are good to go and you'll be set!

I hope I find a nice deal....just have to wait
I actually took a chance and found mine in the forsale section of this site:

If I could do it all over again....I'd buy one that was already modded. I mean even now after I have most of the bolt-ons and I've driven the car hard.....it still feels like its bulletproof. Everyone always complains about them being beat on.....well no crap but the thing is they are made for it. My last car was a 98 Eclipse AWD and that car had 131k miles on it when I sold it. This motor and tranny is much stronger than the eclipse was. Don't worry soo much about wear and tear.
