From 06 STi to Evo X

Just picked up my graphite gray yesterday, traded in an 06 STi for it. Here's a couple pics I took today. It's a little dirty, just rained last night. Enjoy!

Nice Man

Did you get the Aero kit? I am thinking of getting in hopes it will help some of the paint issues I hear about.

You should post up a review in a few weeks to let the Suby drivers know your thoughts after driving her for a while.

Thanks man. Yea I got the Aero kit. Didn't really want it at first, but couldn't find one with out it. I got a great deal on the car, couldn't turn it up. In the end I'm glad I did get the kit, it really finishes off the car. I'm already love with this thing more than the STi and I'm still breaking it in. Loved the subaru, but this just a different animal. I notice myself taking turns at speeds that were far beyond the STi's limits. The car is great, it really feels like 30K dollar car, unlike my subaru.

I don't think the STi is ugly, but thats just my opinion. I just needed something new. The subaru had almost 60K miles on it. The thought of a car like that with all those miles and no warranty kinda scared me. Plus both rear struts went on me (they needed to be replaced about every 20Kmiles) and I didn't feel like forking up the cash for them. Decided to put the money into a down payment on the evo.

I commute roughly 40 miles a day into Boston, all highway. I'm a rehab counselor. I got my STi in Aug of 05, so ya about 18,000 miles a year. I got the GSR with the Aero Kit, fog lights, titanium pedals/shifter/ebrake for roughly $35,000. They gave me almost $19,000 for my STi.

Westboro Mitsubishi on Rt. 9. Pretty nice guys. wont let you test drive until you work up some numbers though. Other than that, it was prolly my best experience at a dealer surprise surprise

congrats on your X but that is one nice STi! I understand if you choose the new subaru over the X but you have a fine 06 example of a nice car. too bad you traded it in.
