How can you make an 03 evo more RWD bias?

When it comes to drivetrains I am pretty clueless. Is there any way to make an 03 EVO more bias towards the rear wheels?

Change the center differential. I'm not even sure if anyone makes a rear biased center differential for the EVO yet, but I know there are a few made for the AWD dsm. Be careful when doing this. More power going the rear also means more things breaking in the rear.

Personally, I don't see a reason to change the torque split from 50/50 on an EVO. The chassis and suspension are already designed to introduce alot of oversteer into turns, or so it seems on my car at least. On a car like the Awd DSM, or Subaru STI, (which is 40/60 I think, maybe 30/70) it needs it for oversteer because the chassis and factory suspension were poorly designed.

Nothing is wrong with my car. I would just like to see if the option was availaible. Even with all my suspension mods I would love a bit more oversteer.

Yes it is available. There is also a electronic device with that option that you can electronically control the torque bias. However, the electronic device comes separate with it.

That comment made me kinda chuckle, but to help ya out, the 04-05 STi is 35/65 f/r torque split, and then in 06 the STi is a 39/51 f/r split. The comment about the chassis and factory suspension were poorly designed... well the STi and the Evo are both road cars and heavy, not to mention both have about a 60/40 f/r weight split. So understeer will be quite inherent in both. Suspensions are quite similar too. I would agree that yes the STi we get here is set to understeer and be more mild out of the factory compared to the evo, but still both have a tendency to understeer. Just remeber slow in = fast out.

Put wider tires and flared fenders on the front. That will increase front end grip and help make it easier to achieve oversteer. You could put some ridiculously stiff springs in the back but, I don't think that would be a good choice for a road car.

As far as powertrain options I haven't seen anything to give the car a rearward bias.

Looks cool and is lots of fun but = slow lap times on dry pavement. Maybe in gravel or snow though!

Is the Cusco Rear bias center dif an urban legend or does it really exist? Anyone have any info?
