Devils Own Alcohol Injection/Dynoflashed AT Pruven

First of all let me say, I bought the Devils own alcohol injection kit 2 weeks ago and I wanted to get my car dynoflashed before MIR opens this saturday. This kit is great! and I think its a good alternative to some of the more expensive kits on the market. www.devilsownonline.com The kit was only 300$, and it was a pretty easy install. I headed to Pruven performance yesterday to get dynoflashed by Al. My appointment was at 12 noon, so I left Maryland around 4 a.m to make sure I got there early. I arrived at around 10 a.m, only to find out that there were 4 other people all scheduled within a half hour of each other. That was pretty frustrating, but I was excited about getting my car done, and the other guys that were there were pretty cool, so the waiting wasn't all that bad.

Al finally got there about 2 hours late, and got started. Let me first say that I will only do road tunes from now on! It seemed like he was more concentrated on everything else that was going on, and not my car. My base run was 340HP & 350TQ after some brief tuning I ended up with 367HP and 393 TQ. I was pretty happy with my gain. Hopefully I will be going to Extreme Motorsports again so I can actually see what I gained, since thats where I ran on the dyno before.

Ahh I guess since it comes with a Geunine Shurflo pump should be good. Lets see down the road if this thing will hold up.

I really liked the Alcohol kit it was a pleasnt suprize

As for attention to your car, when I am tuning here at Pruven I work very closely with the employees here all of whom have as much experience and skill as I have in tuning. They run the dyno and report back to me and I look at the dyno sheets to see how the tune is working.

I would agree with you that road tuning is a superior method, however, the tuning that is done here is also very expecelent.

Finally, just to note how impressed I was with the previous road tune that I did on your car which netted 340 whp here on the Pruven dyno and had a razor smooth power curve.

A lot of people under estimate road tuning as there is nothing tangible they can see or measure but the quality of the tuning and power. In my experience I am much more confident and satisfied with road tuning when I know the tune is 100% correct - period.

With that said, I am also very confident in the work we do here.

I was sorry by the way that you did not have that boost issue fixed before you left as I would have liked to have felt that power on the road with proper boost.

Best regards, AL

It should hold up pretty well, I know these kits are pretty popular with SRT-4 and Grand National owners. I'm definetely impressed.

Is anyone else on here using this kit? It doesn't seem like to many people with Evo's are using it.

Nice results. I had looked at the kit you bought prior to buying the SMC, but since no one at the time had any feedback on that kit, I went with SMC kit. Sounds like it worked well for you.

does this kit have a test button that sprays alky at idle letting you know it's working?

also does it have a pressure gauge?

I couldn't find this info on their site.

I dont have a evo but i do have a eclipse w/ a fully built 4g64 and a evo 8 head. I love this kit. They are really good people to deal with. All these other places just overprice the same stuff that devilsown sells you. There progressive controller is top notch. All there kits are universal and very simple to install. They do have gauges also. I highly recommend this place over any other.
