I didn't ask for a timeslip or a video. My only question from the very beginning was the rev limiter, because IXs can't trap 116mph in 4th without a very high rev limiter. I had never heard of you putting rev limiters at 8k or above on nearly-stock Evos. Is that what you normally do? I probably won't hit 11s at 6000', and no, I wouldn't need your help even if I was still back East. I went plenty fast on my own...you know...just .05s slower with much less power.

 

Not much less power - about 15whp more, but much less torque and on pump.

15whp more than me? My 341/361 was after a bunch of mods that I didn't have when I ran the 12.000, in case that's what you were referring to. The tracks were closed when I added those other mods. Before them, my highest dyno was around 300 on pump gas.

 

Congrats on you time. I tried like hell to make it into the 11's with the stock turbo set up and the best I ever got was a 12.0 @115 on 93/alky and other supporting mods. Those IX's are making some good power with min mods.

I would have to say my next thing would be a set of coilovers. I just put a pair on the G/F WRX and she is sittin pretty.

All I can say is wow and congrats. I have never seen so people with same passion (the EVO) cry like little kids because they haven't hit the 11's yet.
