If they are stock, the Evo will lose by a lot to the S2000 in autocross - check out results at any major SCCA autocross.

 

You're joking right, just about any article ever written about the S2K says that. I don't even need to post a link, go find any article or S2000 review.

 

And you're making S2k owners look like sh1theads by generalizing.

And how about that sh1thead article some sh1thead posted on your boards about how crappy the Evo is compared to the S2k? Guess it goes both ways, sh1thead.

I think posting that complete bullsh1t of a writeup on Evo vs. S2k on their homepage was very uncalled for. They trash talked the Evo and glorified the S2k way too much.

S2k owners are officialy, in my books, as cocky and ignorant as BMW owners once were. Saying they are comparable to FERRARI's? Whatever those S2k guys are smoking, i hope they pass it over here. Honestly you could say an Evo is comparable to lambo's and ferrari's, because TOPGEAR PROVED IT (grandit it was an FQ400, but we can easilly make 400BHP).

S2k people need to shut up, and take the **** talk off their website. We never posted anything trash talking them, because we dont need to **** talk people to feel better about our cars (although we will **** talk to defend them). It was obviously an S2k owner, tired of getting SMOKED by Evo's, who decided to post about how crappy they are.

12.48 in an s2k? not impressed. I have a friend that ran a 12.7 in an 05 STi with exhaust only. I have a55raped plenty of s2k's from a stop and from a roll. AutoX is where the s2k shines above the Evo. I think s2k's are gorgeous, respectable cars. But half of the people that drive them are dumb as hell. There's a guy here in VA with plates that say 2SOON Jr. I wanna slap him every time I see him. He looks like an even gayer version of Paul Walker with his super cool reflective sunshades.

Our second gear takes us up over 60 mph. Where did you get that from? And a stock evo would rape a stock s2k for top speed. S2K's are quick, Evo's are fast.

 

Though I'm not the one who claimed the S could hit 13.6, I feel I have to correct you. In the back of every road & track (or is it C&D), there is a list of vehicule performances for just about every car. Open one up and take a look, the S is listed at 13.9 @ over 100mp/h (I forget the exact speed but I believe it's the same as they list for the EVO).

Apparently lots of EVO's have been beeten on the freeway, but that's just word of mouth (and we all know how much that's worth...) But in my personal experience with STI's we're just about even.

 

wholy **** he said 13.6????? WOW!! The best time I've ever seen is a 14.2-14.4 out of an s2k. no torque whatsoever. And like I stated before, I've a55raped plenty of s2k's on the highway AND from the light. Even when my car was farked up and runnin off of wastegate pressure (11psi) the s2k still couldn't leave me. I like s2k's but some of the owners are ruining it for the car. 13.6 HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
