whose mods were discovered (blown motor) here on the forums by the service department, I won't mess with anything.
The 5/60 bumper to bumper is to important to me to **** away because of a reflash. Yeah I know it makes the car run better, but again, I would rather have the warranty than a few extra ponies under the hood.

Now for my opinion. How many people on this board are just middle class dreamers with a serious case of ADD? We have these delusions of grandeur thinking we will be able to accomplish what shop cars and the few with unlimited budgets can. We buy as much as we can and never get the car running as good as it can due to "constraints" wether it be financial or time. Here you have this car which will never get finished or be running as goood as it could potentially be. We buy into the "Race" mentality for our "Street" cars and think the stand alone is the only way to go. I know you want a really fast car, but, ask yourself do you want the hedaches of a stand alone that go along with your ego?
Damn I must be getting old........

I voted no. The evo is my street car and is plenty fast to get in trouble with every day. I don't need additional problems by messing with emmisions, or the dealer trying to void my warrenty. If I do anything to the car in the future (after it's out of warrenty), it will be an autronic system similar to what I have in my cossie and I'll do all the tuning myself.
My answer is "NO" for two reasons:
1. The Evo is my daily driver/grocery getter, so most of my "mod money" goes into my Porsche for track days, upgrades, et cetera.
2. I'm keeping my Evo completely stock because I want both legs to stand on while arguing warranty issues. It's hard not to mod this thing to the moon because of its potential, but I made myself a deal that if I got this as a daily driver I couldn't immediately turn it into another "project" like I always do with every other car.
That said, I want to reflash but unlike most of you whom the Evo is your sports/fun car, it's my family/utility car; just a really fast one. For this reason, I need an element of practicality to it.
