Yeah. He is correct about checking out all your speaker wires. When i installed my harness in the back of the deck, i never used those cheezy little pinch connectors, rather i stripped the ends of the wires bare, slipped on a proper gauge heatshrink and the soldered the connection. Finally i slid down the heatshrink tubing to cover the soldering job and used a lighter to give it a nice clean and protected look.
As for your speaker connections, i also highly recommend using a little soldering to make sure NONE of those little spade clips pop off of the speaker itself since if they touch on accident, BOOM.... blown MOSFET amplifier in your head unit. I also tap solder the connections on my subwoofer connections to make sure the same doesn't happen there. I'd rather spend a few extra minutes doing a little soldering than risk frying a very expensive deck or amplifier.
When i do installs, i always go the extra distance to make sure everything is as clean and properly done as humanly possible.
