Nicely said, and a true statement. My wife is an Allstate agent.

Yes, of course, being older doesn't necessarily mean someone is more responsible, but the likelihood is much higher. Don't try to focus on the exception to the rule - focus on the rule itself.

You should get the car for yourself and try not to worry about things like that. I see the way people look at me in my Evo and I really do feel sorry for them because they just don't understand.
i agree with this quote completely.

give those people lookin at you funny a ride in ur Evo. cut a couple of corners at double or triple the speed most people turn corners, and hit boost a couple of times. they'll realize why the Evo looks like that afterwards

i was very skeptical about the "ricer" image the Evo is associated with, until i drove an Evo VIII. after the drive i could care less what other people think.

i'm also running a business. however, for me, i wouldnt' want to work with people who judge me based on the way my car looks like. one way to pre-qualify the clients for me i guess

the point is, the Evo has always looked this way ever since its first generation. its part of its heritage, and i respect it. it's just too bad that the "ricer community" happen to mod their exteior similar to the Evo's.

IMHO.

Yes, that i cant argue.... what i was meaning was you get just as many 27-30 year olds as 18-21 year olds starting threads like these : "i wrecked my EVO" or "got a street racing ticket today".

I realize that the younger crowd usally can handle a car like an EVO. i was simply speaking from what i saw here on EvoM.
