Gauge Cluster Not Working

I had the cluster out to replace a burned out light. Everything else was working fine. I plugged in the 2 wiring harnesses and started the car. Everything seemed ok, but suddenly all of the needles stopped moving. All of the lights are working, but the gauges aren't working. I tried looking for a burned out fuse, but can't find anything. The harnesses are connected correctly.

Any ideas?

Its too hard to say specifically what it could be. The best advise you'll get is just to back-track your steps.

My Evo was broken into recently and the ripped my cd player out. Now none of my defi gauges work or my lights behind my speedometer and such. It def sucks. I hooked up a stock cd player and all the wires back up and still nothing? at least im pretty sure all wires were connected. i did notice a black wire tht was taped off and a orange wire tht didnt go to anything. any ideas?

Orange wire for a radio if it is taped off usually means its for 'illumination' or dimming at the same time the headlights are turned on. Anything black would be a ground, so I'm not sure why that would be taped off.

I had an issue once where two wire became loose, and end up touching. It just blew a fuse. I replaced the fuse 4-5 times before I went back to look over what I was doing. Look very closely at the wires to ensure none disconnected.

well still can't figure it out. Checked all the fuses and I had to change my battery and replace my door an window tht got broken out. Still need to check wires better I guess unless anyone has a better idea. I just dont kno why everything works except my lights behind my tach/ speedometer and my gauges tht are right above my ac controls and everything dont work. My defi gauges never power on but the control box for them lights up. My speedometer and stuff work but have no lights so they are horrible at night.
