Road atlanta kicks ***, I have been going there even back in the day when it had the dip on the back. I was looking at getting a P- GT3 for track days. How do you think that stacks up to the evo's?

The GT3 will own a Evo, unless highly modified

Not really -- what I've found is it's driver dependent, also mods figure in.
But stock for stock, Vipers usually acquit themselves well against Z's (C5s)
The C6Z is a different animal, of course...

You do not demolish other cars when hothlapping. You demolish when you are racing. It is clear from the video that the run group had beginner and advanced drivers lumped together. The guys that had an X on the back of their cars are rookies. That is why it was so easy to pass them. If it is Leh who was in the Supra, then the organization that is allwoing fast and beginner drivers in the same run group is idiotic.

And the organization that allows a Ford Explorer on a track does not know anything about safety. It is beyond stupid to allow an explorer on the track. I understand allowing a sport truck like the Lightneing, but an Explorer

Um, no, this was HPDE4, the X's represented instructors, the other cars were TimeTrials groups. The clue was open-passing, most 'rookies' aren't allowed to pass at all. The entire field was sub 1:55's at Road A, including the explorer and on Saturday I was one of 4, 1,2,3,4 who were in the 1:39's.

Most rookies have cages in their cars, right????

Sorry for the mistake, but having actually raced door to door, I am used to seeing X on rookie drivers. I still think it is dumb on the part of NASA to allow an Explorer on the track.

I have raced/Hotlapped with NASA since 2000. I used to like NASA, but now I am racing with SCCA. SCCA is so much better than NASA for actual door-to-door racing.

Door to door, I agree. I did pro driving for about 2 years, tested for some cup teams etc. The mistake was an honest one.
