Oil !!!

I have a little motor oil coming from the BOV vent and thought that a catch can would solve the problem but it didn't ! Should i worry ?

You have oil going through the bov and you DO have a catch can running from to the crank vent and intake? How long have you had the can on for?

How do you know it's motor oil and not just the little bit of grease that is on the piston when you first got it? I have the same BOV and notice the same thing on the piston, but it has always been there. No catch can here, just the K&N breather.

that's normal, I have had the APS BOV for 10k+ and every so often, I add a few drops of mobil 1 in the vent to keep it lubed. no worries. PS. i do have a catch can...

I have the TurboSmart BOV dual-port and I have never seen any oil...

I read in the instructions that some special lube/oil should be used when doing maintenence on the BOV.

So, regular synthetic oil is good enough to lube the BOV piston? Seems like a good idea...
