UPDATE ON THE SITUATION!!!!!!

I've used about 8/10ths of the tank now and have been doing 0-minmal boost so i dont get run over by oncoming traffic lol and i gotta say...sucks to drive a slow car lol....what some said bout retarding the timing..i hit it in 3rd and 4th once up to redline just to see what happens cause i HAD to...boost didnt go over 12 so obviously the car will be slower...but i honestly think my audi a4 with 19's and 170bhp felt faster lol....the computer definetly does fix something....the car was smooth and using almost an entire tank i've driven 305 miles so far....i'd consider this a good experience putting 87 in because now i know how horrible i drive to average 170-210 miles to a full tank...driving the car like an old lady will probably get me about 350 miles. on the other hand...i rather pay the extra 10$ a week in gas and rip on the car lol

cheers...thanks for every1's input

Or touline apparently, but whatever. The owners manual says it's okay to run 87 if necessary, just go easy on it.

like he said. put an octane booster in there. Don't do that to your poor evo. Its like giving you dirty water to drink over clean water.
