Evo7 hood on the evo8??

Is it possible to replace the evo8 hood w/ the evo7 hood from a body kit for the US Spec. 03' lancer? something like an apex kit hood. Or if it comes down to it, an evo7 hood of an actual evo7??

You might have to change the bumpers b/c the hood on the 8 comes to a point rather than straight.

Why not spend the money on TE37's or performance upgrades?

Everything on the 8 was designed for function. It's more so compared to the 7

Check out the body work for your self then decide if changes are worth it.

heat vent is much more efficient on the 8 than the 7, spend the money on something more advantageous.

well, i was just gonna say what is said already

but anyway the hood i dont really see whats so different a bout the looks that u need to change it...not ugly either plus functional

so if u want to spend on cosmetics, dont spend something that makes the car slower (using the older gen hood)

I was looking at my friends EVO VII the other day.. I don't like the VII's hood at all!! The EVO VIII hood looks much better and meaner... There are absolutely no lines in the 7's hood at all... Just the 2 vent holes, and the other little scoop... No lines whatsoever... The 8's hood rocks!!
