im 2x and asian. ppl see me and they go.. "damn another ricer" dont really care anyways. didnt buy the car to please others. oh.. and just getting by paying off payments for the car.. no $$ for mods however.

on a side note: whats up with everyone with the bashing of high school kids with nice cars. hell when im a father i dont mind buying my son/daughter a nice car if they are deserving. too many ppl fall into the trend to bash on younger generations with nice cars. so what? its not ur money and like u would understand the circumstances in which they bought the car. im only saying this because a couple of my close friends have nice cars bought by their parents and are VERY responsible about it. they're too busy going to school and after school academy to even think about working. im sure there are younger people out there MORE mature than some of you out there. (not aimed at anyone).

Im a soft spoken corporate lawyer in his early 30s that is known for being socially conservative.

People tend to be totally shocked when they see my car. Shredded tyres, graphics, rumbling exhaust. Especially my clients.

hehe that's funny, i get that too, with my dad's car. He owns a toyota sportivo v6 brand new. And i especially stick on the P Plates because im only 18. Everybody looks at me like asif i stole a frickn car LOL. I don't know what they are going to do in the next couple of weeks. Either a 330CI 2001-02 model or an EVO 7 or 8 is going to enter my driveway Btw i don't work because im very involved in studying but, i need a job now because i need modification money and need to pay off the car.

I tell people that I have an Evo and they say "what the hell is that, a s.u.v"

I do get a lot of thumbs up though,
I am a full time student and 99% of the kids at my college don't even know what it is,
but when I take them for a ride, they all say 1 of 2 things.
either Holy S#1T or Holy S#1T, I want one!

Yeah, being 20 years old and going to school a lot of people are surprised i own and evo. I kinda like it though, i also get a different kind of respect owning an evo, people definitely look at me differently then when i had my GSX. It's funny how many people would mess around with me in my GSX, since they thought it was just a loud black eclipse, till they heard the turbo screaming when i ripped passed them. Since i got the evo nobody wants to "play" anymore, haha, they just pull up next to me, look at it and keep going.
