opinion on Guages.

Cars in the middle of an Overhaul and i need some ideas on some new Guages. I kinda want it to look stock and i dont like the MR Gauge Cluster, Andi just sold my Steering colum pod, I just want it to somewhat match the interior this is what i need.

I have a triple colum pod, i need

-Boost
-EGT
-Air intake Temp.

was looking at autometer, defi, and Warner Gauges,VDO but cant decide. i want something thats going to be accurate. and still look decent/stock

What you think?

Anthony

I would really look into either nexus or defis, I think the most important thing about gauges is having some sort of warning system, because you never have your eyes on the gauges 100% of the time. If you are not willing to spend the money on the high end gauges you could always get something cheap like prosports/autometer. I'm personally going with prosports and i'll have them in by next week.

I was a big fan of autometer, in fact you can look at some of my old posts where I majorly defended them, but I just had 2 (oil pressure and oil temp) fail on me. I'm not such a big fan anymore. Maybe the nexus are better...

Stewart Warner are great gauges. The oil pressure sender is not as smooth as the defi units but is still accurate. The boost gauge has always read what the dyno has shown. They look better than auto meter gauges IMO.

Here is a link to the photos of them in my car with the 42nd draft design panel.
