Whats a good price for a IX

The invoice price includes things like the real cost of the car from the manufacturer to the dealer, gas, destination, holdback, and advertising fee. Don't expect to touch holdback money from a dealer (your gonna have to try to pry it from their kung fu grip). Especially on a IX. A dealer would have to be absolutly desperate to give it to you.
Remember, none of this includes any rebates like College Grad or Loyalty (rebates may vary from region to region).

I actually have my window sticker for my SSL IX right here and it is $35,114 (MSRP). The SSL package costs $3,129 so take that off the MSRP and you get $31,985 MSRP. So you're looking at roughly $30k flat for Invoice, roughly.... if that $1900 markup figure is right. (i'll check my sales slip to confirm)
My IX-SSL was $2250 UNDER invoice and was $31.5k roughly OTD with Lojack early recovery ($800)... so I think the number of a $1900 markup between invoice and MSRP is a little low.
I'll dig around for the sales slip for my IX-SSL to get a proper number on markups from invoice to MSPR when i get some time tomorrow since I know I paid exactly $2250 under invoice on my car and didn't get any twisted dealer numbers like salesmen love to throw at you.
Edit: Here is a photo of my sticker (MSRP)

Andrewlb, your car had ssl on it. So therefore of course the invoice on yours is going to be more expensive. However, on the non ssl cars they invoice is cheaper obviously. Because SC MITSU deals in bulk they are able to get the evos at a special discounted price from mitsu. This is how they are able to sell them under invoice.
Its not rocket science. SC MITSU is the number 1 mitsu dealer in the US for a reason.

You are confusing! If you read my earlier posts, I do say that invoice is around $30000. I actually said it was between $28000 and $29000.

This is getting stupid. I will post MSRP and invoice of a IX GSR tomorrow afternoon.

if they sell a certain # of cars, but they don't get cheaper cars. How they choose to use those bonuses is their buisness.

The sticker I posted shows MSRP on an IX-SSL. Remove the $3120 from the big bold price at the bottom and you get the MSRP (STICKER) on the IX-GSR without SSL.
Invoice is then a couple grand BELOW that mark. IIRC, invoice is roughly $3k below the MSRP price on an IX-SSL. I'm not sure if its the same as you'd see on an IX-non-SSL, but I think its similar.

The dealer pockets that change.

And stop your flaming. Just because you didn't read the thread with any comprehension including my specific mention that i got the deal through my brother in law, doesn't mean you have to make comments like this. My comments minus my specific deal pertain completely to the original posters questions.
I posted the MSRP price of my IX-SSL, along with a photo showing the price difference between the MSRP of the SSL and the regular IX-GSR. Its pretty cut and clear if you look at the hard facts in the photo i posted up.
I'm done arguing with you. Please do better reading before calling BS on someone in the future. I've posted up the most solid MSRP prices of the two cars we're talking about here and that is 100% relevent to the topic at hand.

It does highly suprise me that any dealer would sell these cars so cheap and make so little considering how high the demand is. But to be honest.... they probably make up for it in the service department after denying our warranties for anything they can find.
