We are not argueing about the MSRP of this car. Anyone can go to a Mitz dealer and see that. We are argueing about the invoice. Something most dealers will never show you.

And sorry for not keeping track of what you say in your posts, I did not think you were that important considering what you paid for a IX. Meaning you did not apply to the situation at hand.

At the most, they're probably going for actual invoice if that thread showing prices for SoCal Mitsu mentioned earlier is correct.

It does highly suprise me that any dealer would sell these cars so cheap and make so little considering how high the demand is. But to be honest.... they probably make up for it in the service department after denying our warranties for anything they can find.
Dude I dont know what else to tell you if you want to be ignorant of the facts!

I have a good friend of mine who works for mitsu as a salesman I have seen the invoices of every different evo they have.

And AGAIN, the dealer doesnt pay normal invoice cost for these cars if they sell 60-70 of them at a time. Name me one dealer that gets a shipment of 60-70 evos at a time?

And SC mitsu is very good with warranty issues. This is why their customer satisfaction ranks number 1!!!

READ DUDE!!! I'll post the sticker one more time!!!

Its simple math. See the markup for the SSL package???? Not SUBTRACT that from the MSRP on my sticker (the big bold price of $35,114.) That equals $31,985 MSRP for a NON SSL. There is no way the price he gave of $31,339 is INVOICE. Invoice is at a very minimum $2k under STICKER (MSRP)

INVOICE= DEALERS PRICE ON A VEHICLE FROM MITSUBISHI
MSRP= MANUFACTUERS SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE (AKA STICKER)

I actually have my window sticker for my SSL IX right here and it is $35,114 (MSRP). The SSL package costs $3,129 so take that off the MSRP and you get $31,985 MSRP. So you're looking at roughly $30k flat for Invoice, roughly.... if that $1900 markup figure is right. (i'll check my sales slip to confirm)

My IX-SSL was $2250 UNDER invoice and was $31.5k roughly OTD with Lojack early recovery ($800)... so I think the number of a $1900 markup between invoice and MSRP is a little low.

I'll dig around for the sales slip for my IX-SSL to get a proper number on markups from invoice to MSPR when i get some time tomorrow since I know I paid exactly $2250 under invoice on my car and didn't get any twisted dealer numbers like salesmen love to throw at you.

Edit: Here is a photo of my sticker (MSRP)

DUDE please slap yourself. YOU JUST TOLD EVERYONE HERE ON THIS THREAD THAT YOU BOGHT A EVO 9 with ssl. Now you are telling us that the same sticker you posted is the non ssl.

Wtf is wrong with you?

Yes... and Warrtalon specifically said the INVOICE of a non-SSL IX-GSR is $31,399. That is NOT correct.

I'm not ignorant of any facts.

All dealers get their cars at INVOICE. Which is essentially the same between dealers except for certain fees like destination. Where companies like SoCal Mitsu makes their money is via the kickback bonuses they get from Mitsubishi Corp for selling lots of cars, financing kickbacks, trades, and in the service department.

As you can tell from your earlier posting of this pic its the exact same form the sticker of your ssl. So why are you even mentioning what the non ssl is invoiced for from the ssl sticker? Besides sticker has nothign to do with the factual price of the invoice.

Ok man. Please slow your roll and start using some comprehension.

My sticker is an MSRP price for a 2006 Evolution IX with SSL. On that sticker there is a price for the SSL package which is $3,120. If you SUBTRACT that number from the MSRP price on my SSL sticker... you get the cost of a NON-SSL.

Simple? Easy?

Its not brain surgery here guys....

Ok you do the same. Now as I have been saying what does this have to do with the invoice? This is sticker price of a ssl.

The sticker i posted up directly relates to the post made by Warr where he said the INVOICE of a non SSL IX is $31,339 because if you subtract the price of the SSL package which is right on that photograph from the MSRP, you get the Non-SSL MSRP of $31,985.

See... he 'claimed' that INVOICE on the non-SSL was roughly $600 less than the MSRP of a non-SSL. And that was INCORRECT.

geeze.... some people need to learn some reading comprehension and basic math skills....

OMG....

For the 10th time.... the sticker shows if you do some subtraction of the cost of the SSL package, how much the sticker would be on a non-SSL. And that price is only $600 more than what Warrtalon said the INVOICE price of a non-SSL was.

See his quote:

Edit: I'm sure what he posted was simply a typo or confusion between INVOICE and MSRP. I'm only correcting the inaccurate statement he made. Plain and simple.

Ok mang w/e we can keep going on about this back and forth. The fact of the matter is SC MITSU is selling their evo 9 gsr non ssl for just under 28grand and the evo 9 mr FOR JUST UNDER 33GRAND.

You got a good deal for your evo 9 ssl. Just hope it wasnt test driven before you bought it.

This link to their prices says the IX-GSR (non-ssl) is priced at $28,999. NOT under $28,000.

I know its late, typos do occur.

I definitely made sure it wasn't because I know how crazy some test drivers get when they get their hands on an Evo. Especially the ones who just go in there to drive one for fun and cannot actually afford one.
Mine had just came off a trunk and was still coated in plastic. Never driven by anyone but myself and the guy who moved it off the trunk.
