You should try searching first. Since there are tons of threads about this.

I personally wouldn't pay more than $500-1000 or so over dealer invoice on a car. I cannot say what people are getting their IX's for out of state because I got mine via my brother in law who works for Mitsu. $2250 under invoice.

Just pay invoice. Ask to see it and it should look sorta official. If the trade is clean, it should be worth $26,000 to $27,000. And try to make your car go back to stock, alot of those parts work on the IX. Good Luck!

For a basic GSR (no added BS), like $29800 or $29900 or something like that. I give them away all the time, its quite pathetic.

To tell you the truth, these cars should sell for atleast sticker. Nothing else can touch it in terms of performance for the $$$$. Put $1300 (sometimes less) in it and your spanking some supercars.

Andrew, the SCM prices are below invoice.

03redtype, you are so notorious for not searching, and I see it's going to continue with you getting a IX and bugging us for days on end with tons of threads. First, you couldn't find that you don't actually have to GO to Cali to get an Evo. Plenty of people just buy one and have it shipped - simple and cheap. Next, you could have searched around to see what people have been paying for Evos elsewhere. Lastly, you could have found the invoice prices on here or on one of many websites that post such things. When will you learn not to be so lazy and do some of your own homework?

IX GSR invoice is 31,399 or so.

Actually the best way to go about this is to submit offers to pay invoice to dealers online. Someone will bite and give the car away. Just make sure that they have what you want instock. A dealer can make things hairy and take you out of the market to buy a car for a long time.

No dude warrtalon is right that is invoice. I know cause I saw it! Maybe where you are at invoice is more.

I went to el cajon mitsu and they wanted to rape me for a evo 9 gsr for over 40grand. They had a 5grand mark up. Then its a good thign I did what the good doctor warrtalon advised and searched and I came across SC mitsu and got it way under invoice. Not to mention this car was brand new never been driven and el cajons ev 9 was test driven.

After ttl lowjack and gap my total bill was just over 32grand.
