Yes let them bash on the Evo , the insurance would be more than their carpayment and being a 10.00 dollar a hour ho doesnt help with that huge payment neither

you can't really take away from the Z though. it's heritage is just as great as the EVO's. the Z handles quite well (if you're a skilled drive) also.

both are good cards in different ways. people like both for different reasons, exterior and mechanical.

Man, I don't like jumping to other boards to yell at misinformed people but damn. We all know the misinformation about the evo thrown around. So, let us address the claims about the Z. Big misconception is that this TT setup is a great upgrade. Well, you are taking a NA engine and throwing a turbo on. You have to fortify the internals and alot of Z's with this TT kit are fizzling out after putting on some miles. So all these kids saying, Yeah, drop the 4 grand and get the kit. This 4 grand I'm sure doesn't include the engine build to support this TT setup. If the setup is run correctly (kept at lower boost levels) then it will be fine. However, as we all know, when boost is involved you always want just a little more. Two extra psi for us won't kill our motors. Two extra psi on a non built NA motor with a TT setup. Not a good thing! Before everyone jumps my case on proof and all this crap, I read it somewhere and was talking to some local tuners. Take it or leave it. It's not gospel

As owner of both an evo and 350z at one time(still have the z), I agree that they are completely different cars. Apples to oranges comparision. I miss my evo to death but I love driving the z. It is a true sports car with two seats and rwd. Sure you can't mod it without dropping a zillion dollars but it is a joy to drive. Don't get me wrong I miss the evo and the X will be my next car hopefully. But screw the civic guys, they are just complaining because they drive civics, a car with no racing heritage built solely for economy.

The internals of a 350 Z DO NOT FIZZLE OUT , the VQ series engine is very complex, having microfinshed camshafts , crankshaft , dual cooling ports, Timing chain , platinum spark plugs , and a whole buch of other stuff i can get into .
Like i said i used to sell nissan for 3 years and have seen my share of TT setups. And if your talking a true twin turbo set-up its around 8,000 - 9,000 for it. The clearance between the engine sidewalls and the turbos is less than a inch , a very tight squeeze , in fact a guy out here in vegas rolls one and said it took 3 weeks just to install them , After 80 mph that thing cant be touched , it hauls ***

That stuff makes me laugh. I swear when people see my car then all of a sudden think that what they are driving just magically turned into an Enzo or something. The other day I pull into the gas station up the road. I am at the pumps and this guy comes out of the store just staring at my car. He gets into his old Saab and whips out of the parking lot making a pitiful attempt to smoke his tires. Different day, same gas station. Pull in to get gas with this kid in a totally beat down Dodge Neon staring me down. He gets on it as he leaves making all kinds of noise but hardly going anywhere. All I can do is laugh!

W.e. let the fools go buy a 350Z and wrap it around a tree. Less morons driving Evo's, and yes there are some very dumb evo drivers. If they dont know enough about the car they are interested in buying than they shouldnt be buying it

that board used to be my old stomping ground. I traded in my em2 for my evo but don't bash all hondas because of a few idiots. I should go on there and post up. Yes the civic was made for economy but before there were evos in the states there were 10 second civics. I mean alot of the import car and tuner culture came from people hooking up hondas. People were making 10 second hondas long before the evo was even considered to come to the states so there is some race heritage to honda. If it wasn't for honda you might not have mivec, vvti, and the other variable timing electonic control as honda was the pioneer of this technology.
