Just remind those kids that mostly girls drive civics . . . and the elderly . . . and the handicapped . . . and . . . uh . . . terrorists? Maybe not.
But it is EXTREMELY RARE for girls to own Evo's, even rarer for the elderly, moreso for the handicapped, and so forth . . .

He gets into his old Saab and whips out of the parking lot making a pitiful attempt to smoke his tires. Different day, same gas station. Pull in to get gas with this kid in a totally beat down Dodge Neon staring me down. He gets on it as he leaves making all kinds of noise but hardly going anywhere. All I can do is laugh!

I probably get my car confused w/ a subaru about 80% of the time. It's like most people dont even know about the evo. They just see a big wing and go, ohh theres one of them subaru's.
The VQ engine series is not designed for boost. It's a high revving, all aluminum motor. They make it sound like a TT kit is an easy, bolt-on 450whp. Umm yeah OK. You'll have to spend as much on the engine as you would on the turbo if you wanna sustain those kind of numbers for more than an afternoon. Not to mention the drivetrain. I like the lines of the 350Z and I know a few people who own one, but the Evo is in a different league of car when it comes to tunability, handling and crazy HP numbers.

Like i said i used to sell nissan for 3 years and have seen my share of TT setups. And if your talking a true twin turbo set-up its around 8,000 - 9,000 for it. The clearance between the engine sidewalls and the turbos is less than a inch , a very tight squeeze , in fact a guy out here in vegas rolls one and said it took 3 weeks just to install them , After 80 mph that thing cant be touched , it hauls ***

just remeber, eventually these cars will begin to get affordable because of depreciation. then you'll see the hammer really coming down. in '03 if you weren't waving the mitsu. banner you had know idea what the evo was. so because of little turds getting into serious accidents, the cops in cali. have the evo and the sti on their **** list because of the hp potential and these little turds stepping up out of their bean can.
i was told buy a cop. we can't keep you from owning one, but we can make you think twice about keeping one. here in cali. everyone is trying to go stealth because of of the cops pulling you over for exhaust or anything for that matter and sending you off to smog referee.
my advice go undercover into these honda turd forums and talk smack about the evo, steering them away from an evo purchase.

wow more honda tards. no wonder why on H-T theres like a 50 page thread on GDD praising subarus then if you make an Evo post you're bashed. glad i never owned one of those. even though my focus is a POS it's still not a civic. heh that was my only requirement when gettin a car. NO CIVICS.
and 13000 into an evo is easily 500+whp and 10's all day

anyways on safety, my buddy who was 16 at the time flipped his evo with 3 other people in the car 4-6 times doing 110+, everyone lived although some had pretty bad injuries. the evo however died, with a wopping 400 miles on it. it was 8 days old

Supras are nice, but I need the 4 drs. Plus I dont want a used car that I dont know what the previous owner has done to it.
All car are safe, unless you did not wear your seatbelt when the accident happend.
